Goals/Objectives  

The Multimedia and Student Learning workshop is designed to provide classroom teachers with an understanding of what multimedia is and how integrating multimedia into the learning process can enhance student learning.
Description  During this two-day workshop, you will
  • Develop an understanding of what multimedia includes
  • Learn how research supports multimedia as a tool to enhance student learning
  • Learn ways to evaluate multimedia's quality and impact on student learning
  • Apply your understanding of multimedia into the lesson planning process

Upon completion of this workshop, you will

  • Have begun to create a lesson plan that incorporates multimedia into instruction
  • Have begun to produce a multimedia presentation to use as a teaching tool
  • Know how to locate, evaluate, and organize resources for integrating multimedia into the classroom.
