Goals/Objectives  

Learn how to challenge and motivate your math students to clearly communicate their ideas and understanding of mathematics. Participants will try out writing strategies that help students arrange, explain, and justify their thinking.
Description  This workshop is ideal for schools wanting to encourage higher-level thinking skills, improve writing, and increase mathematical learning. When students identify an audience and ways to organize their thinking, they learn at deeper levels.
