Leadership development that makes a difference
McREL's Balanced Leadership program has helped nearly 10,000 leaders nationwide learn how to translate research into results in their schools.
Few programs are built on a research base as comprehensive or solid as Balanced Leadership.
Our school-level program is based on the largest-ever analysis of research on effective school leaders, as reported in the publication School Leadership that Works: From Research to Results.
Our district-level program is based on a comprehensive analysis of decades of research on effective district leadership reported in the publication District Leadership That Works: Striking the Right Balance.
McREL experts draw upon years of experience to help school leaders understand the practical implications of the research.
To help workshop participants apply what they learn in their own schools, we offer inter-session support through materials, tools, and Web-based interaction with experts, including access to our Balanced Leadership Profile® online survey tool.
