As a principal consultant with McREL, Anne provides services that support the ongoing needs of teachers, schools, and districts and serves as the associate director of the North Central Comprehensive Center. Her work with clients focuses on professional development activities designed to assist schools, districts and state departments with the development of highly qualified teachers. Anne is the past-president of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA). She spent 30 years as a high school science educator, and has taught many subjects, including environmental science, biology, chemistry, Earth science, and marine science. Anne has written many articles and worked on the program planning team to revise the 2009 NAEP Framework for Science.
